We are an ever growing primary school set in

spacious green fields in Bishopsworth, Bristol.

We are really excited to be growing so fast! Are you one of the 60 children joining us in Reception this year..... welcome to the family!

The headteacher and staff team lead by example. They consistently exemplify love, respect and awareness of others. As a result, pupils feel safe and happy and their behaviour is good. The welfare of each pupil and family is a priority for the school. The curriculum is planned carefully to challenge and support pupils’ learning.

SIAS Report 2011

OFSTED inspectors visited us in January 2011.

Reporting inspector James Henry praised the behaviour of children at the school and the leadership of the new head teacher.

“Parents and carers were unanimous in their approval of the school’s leadership and management, and of the quality of teaching. They were also unanimous in their agreement that they are happy with their children’s experience at the school.”

Music is a really important part of our school. All children learn to play the recorder and all Year 5 children get a year long opportunity to learn an orchestra instrument. This year they are also part of a steel band!

Our youngest children love learning new songs and each year the Infants remember the true meaning of Christmas by performing the Nativity.

Our children go on many visits including visits to Crystal Palace, the farm, the zoo and castles!

Year 6 stay at Barton Camp and take part in crafts, archery, midnight games, pirate treasure hunts, music, daily swimming, It's a Knock Out, talent shows and much much more!
